Overview
The Town of Simla is a statutory municipality within in the State of Colorado meaning, its Board of Trustees are limited to exercising powers that are granted by the state and are subject to provisions and limitations imposed by the state. Simla’s Board of Trustees consists of the Mayor and six Trustees. Members of the of the Board of Trustees are elected to serve four-year terms, unless shortened terms are necessary to maintain staggered positions and are term limited to two (2) terms.

Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month and start at 7:00 pm in the Simla Town Hall, 323 Pueblo Avenue. Workshops will be scheduled on an ‘as-needed’ basis.
Visitors are allowed up to three minutes of public comment during the Unscheduled Public Comment portion of a regularly scheduled meeting.
How to Reserve Your Spot on the Agenda
If you would like to be placed on the agenda, please fill out the Request to be Placed on Agenda form (available below or at Town Hall).
A Request to Placed on Agenda form must be submitted to the Town Clerk, by 4:00 pm on the Wednesday preceding the Tuesday Board meeting. – Town Code 1-5-2
- A completed Request to be Placed on Agenda form can be submitted to the Town Clerk by either dropping off at Town Hall or emailing to town_simla@fairpoint.net
