As the temperatures rise and we move ever closer to this year’s Simla Days (July 8th), the line-up of offerings continues to grow as entertainments, food & beverage, local businesses and organizations join the community celebration.
Be sure to stop by, take part in the fun, grab a bite to eat, dance, connect and play as our community takes a break from the busyness of summer work.
Parade:
The morning of July 8th kicks off with a parade, starting at 9:30 a.m. Registration for Parade and line-up information can be found at Simla Days Parade page.
Activities:
A variety of activities provide fun for all ages.
- Sack races
- Horseshoe Tournament (register your single or doubles team here)
- Three-legged races
- Dunking Booth
- Kiddee Train Rides
- Horse-drawn Hay rides

Food & Beverage:
The American Legion and Auxiliary will again grill hamburgers for sale at lunch time, Mama Smith’s Cafe will be roasting a pig. Backroads Liquor’s Beer Garden provides adult refreshments and the Town of Simla will again serve a free dinner for the community in the evening.
Products, Services, Resources, Cars and More:
Meet and learn more about the Independent and Small Business owners in our locale, as well as the resources, non-profits and organizations within our community. Collectible car owners have reserved their space as well. Full vendor list will be available soon.
Drawings:
This year, the Town of Simla will be selling $1 tickets for hourly drawings for prizes.
Music:
DJ music during the day with intermittent live music. After dinner… Street Dance!
