The Simla Committee for Community Growth (SCCG) is hosting their 1st Annual Trunk or Treat event at the Simla Branch Library parking lot, 504 Washington Avenue, Simla, CO 80835 – on October 31, 2017 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
RSVP is requested, so adequate preparations can be made for attendees. RSVP can be submitted in person at Simla Branch Library, OR online at the SCCG Facebook Event Page.
Trunk or Treat provides opportunity for one-stop Trick or Treating for the kiddos, competition for prizes fun for the adults (via Trunk decorating activities – and no…it doesn’t have to be a Trunk – You can decorate your whole Truck bed!) and opportunity to local businesses/organizations to promote and connect with the community they serve.

What is SCCG?
The Simla Committee for Community Growth is an independent group of community minded individuals, who first met this past Spring to ask one question,
“What can we, as a group, work on together to increase the opportunities and possibilities for our local area?”
Since their first meet-up at the Pines & Plains Simla Library, they have worked to serve, enhance communication, connect with businesses, organizations and individuals within the Simla area community as well as sister communities in Ramah, Matheson, Calhan, Kiowa and Elizabeth.
The group meets the first Friday, of every month, 5:30 pm, at Simla Branch Library, at 504 Washington Avenue, Simla, Colorado and they encourage others who value our rural communities to attend.
