As our area braces for bitterly cold weather approaching, we wanted to remind folks of simple ways to protect their pipes from freezing:
- Leave faucets open, to a small trickle. Even this small amount of moving water can prevent pipes from freezing.
- For pipes located near exterior walls and behind cabinet doors, simply opening the cabinet doors aides in keeping those areas warmer.
