Town of Simla to Hold Municipal Election
The Town of Simla will hold an election for the Board of Trustees on April 2, 2024. There are three (3) trustee positions available, which are for a four (4) year term.
Qualifications for Positions include:
- 18 years of age;
- a registered elector in the Town of Simla;
- shall have resided in the Town of Simla for a period of at least 12 consecutive months
Member Duties
The board members are required to attend the regular board meetings at 7:00 pm on the second Tuesday of each month and workshops.
Petition Packets available January 2, 2024 for interested individuals
Petition packets may be picked up from the office of the Town Clerk at Town Office, 323 Pueblo Avenue, Simla, Tuesday, January 2, 2024.
Petitions are to be returned no later than 3:00 pm on Thursday, January 22, 2024.
