Municipal Code:
Municipal Code 4-1A-2 requires all dogs are required to be licensed with the town, and must provide current proof of Rabies vaccination in order to receive annual license tag.
Dog licenses must be purchased/renewed by March 31st of each year. New residents have 30 days to register their dogs.
Licensing Fees:
Fees are Structured based on spayed/neutered status:
- Spayed/Neutered – $15
- Un-spayed/Un-neutered – $25
Fine for Non-Compliance:
A fine of $45 is assessed after March 31st for any failure to meet dog licensing requirements.
